Our Lady Trojans walked into this game fearless and LOCKED IN.

They BLASTED out of the gate with 11 unanswered points in the first quarter led by:

• Kristah Rodriguez
• Jasmine Moreno

Coach Gasca had a GAME PLAN — and the girls executed it to perfection early on.

Tilden, being the elite program they are, responded with a furious comeback — knocking down FOUR straight three-pointers to cut the lead to just a couple of points.

But champions regroup.

Second quarter?

• Controlled.
• Composed.
• Dominant again.

We went into halftime with a lead — and momentum.

THIRD & FOURTH QUARTER — PURE GRIT

The second half turned into a heavyweight fight. Bucket for bucket. Stop for stop. A nail-biter to the very end.

Then adversity hit.

Three of our starters fouled out in the 4th quarter.

The moment got bigger.

And our BENCH stepped up like they had been starters all year.

No panic.

No drop off.

No fear.

They controlled possessions.

They played suffocating defense.

They forced Tilden’s best shooter to the line with under 15 seconds remaining…

And the pressure was TOO MUCH.

Missed free throws.

Three-possession cushion.

Ball secured.

Buzzer sounds.
